LNW appoints new board
LIMPOPO
Following the disputes between the former minister of Water and Sanitation Lindiwe Sisulu, the former board chairperson Harold Matsepe and the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Phineas Legodi, Lepelle Northern Water (LNM) has officially appointed Dr Ndweleni Mphephu, as chairperson of its board effective from August 4th.
Appointed chairperson who served on the interim board of LNW will now serve for a period of four years.
Active chief executive, Ahuiwi Netshidaulu on behalf of the LNW’s Executive Committee (EXCO) has congratulated the newly elected board.
“We wish them well in their endeavours and re pledging unwavering support to the collective. We are looking forward to the guidance and leadership to be displayed by the new chairperson and his board,” said Netshidaulu.
He alluded to great excitement on the part of the EXCO and the rest of the organisation.
Meanwhile the LNW media liaison officer, Yolande Nel, said Joe Mathebula and advocate Mosibodi Makwedi Makgopa Madisa who also served in the interim board were officially appointed permanently.
Nel said other elected members were Mack Magoele, Mape Gololo, Fikile Mudau, Bukeka Mahlutshana, adv Ramashia Tlou, Pulane Molokwane, Dr Fhululani Munyai, Dr Manqoba Snothile Mhholi Soni and Salome Chiloane-Nwabueze.
