The 19-year old Michelle Morura is a beautiful young lady who has just scooped herself finalist sash for Miss Dream Chaser South Africa and Miss Zion South Africa.
This passionate model owns more than 20 pageantry sashes and still wants more. She explained that it feels good to be a finalist in two of the national pageantry in the country.
“I am so happy because I have always been looking for bigger pageants to enter and I finally did. They will help me inspire other women out there who are afraid to chase their dreams especially in modelling. Most of them are afraid to be half naked and unfortunately, that is part of modelling. I will help them gain their confidence and rock their talents,” she said.
Michelle who is from Ngwaabe, Ga-Masha said the journey has never been easy for her. She stated that modelling needs one to have many followers on social media in case competitions needs people to vote and that has been her struggle.
“In cases on pageants that needs votes from fans, I always fall behind. I am not well-known on social media,” said Michelle.
However, this only motivates her to enter bigger and better pageants to get the exposure.
She says she made it to most pageants with her friends’ support, especially Nthabi the MC who has been her backbone in most cases.
Michelle’s twin sister Rochelle Morura expressed her excitement about her sister’s journey in modelling.
“I want her to succeed and become an inspiration to many people. She is amazing and passionate in what she’s doing, I hope she becomes Miss South Africa one day,” said Rochelle.
Although she shines as a model, Michelle wants to be a Police Officer who will be a role model to the youth.
