Zandile wants to bring Miss Limpopo crown to Tubatse

MAAKUBU

Zandile Mokgotho (23) a local lass from Maakubu Village  has been selected as a finalist for Miss Limpopo province 2026, a platform that celebrates leadership, culture and the empowerment of young women.

Mokgotho is an active member of the community in Tubatse and also in her village.  She has recently raised awareness about men’s mental health.

“Too often, men suffer in silence due to societal expectations that discourage them from showing vulnerability. I believe it is time to break the stigma and open conversations that can save lives. Men are pillars in our communities yet many are battling unseen struggles.”

She added,“ My advocacy is about reminding men that asking for help is not weakness – it is courage. A mentally strong man builds a stronger society.”
Mokgotho has pleaded with locals to vote for her in the Miss Limpopo pageants. “As voting opened, I am calling on people of Sekhukhune, Limpopo and beyond to support me in a quest to become the queen of Limpopo.”

Locals interested in voting for Zandile can do so on ( https://www.misslimpopoprovince.online/vote-zandilemokgotho). Voting closes on November 28 at 18:00, votes cost R5 per vote, The pageant finale is scheduled for November 29 at Bolivia Estate in Polokwane.
