EMLM engages on 2023/2024 Draft Annual Report

The Mayor of Elias Motsoaledi Municipality (EMLM), Cllr David Tladi, joined by EMLM Council Speaker, Cllr Junior Thethe, have recently led the municipality’s productive discussion with municipal staff on the 2023/2024 Draft Annual Report, held at the EMLM council chamber in Groblersdal.

According to the local municipality, the meeting demonstrated the institution’s commitment to transparency and accountability while providing an overview of the municipality’s achievements, challenges, and financial performances for the past financial year.

The consultation provided an opportunity for staff to engage with the mayor and senior managers, offering valuable insights and feedback on the municipality’s performance over the past year.

The draft annual report for the financial year 2023/2024 has been tabled before the EMLM council on 25 January 2025 and was approved for public participation.

“We value the input and contributions of our staff. Your participation and input are valuable in ensuring that the final Annual Report accurately reflects the municipality’s progress and plans for the future,” said Mayor Tladi.

The municipality said a final annual report will be presented to council and made available to the public in due course.

The local municipality indicated that copies of 2023/2024 annual report are available for public inspection on the municipality website: http://www.eliasmotsoaledi.gov.za municipal offices, libraries.

The municipality advised members of the community and staff members to make written comments on the report.
