Sandra is crowned Miss Sekhukhune East District

The new Miss Sekhukhune East District schools pageant was crowned during a glittering event that took place on Saturday. The event was hosted at Sehlaku Hall and was planned by Exceptional Hosters.
Sandra Maoko (15) was crowned Miss Sekhukhune after tough competition from other contestants.
She said that the feeling is just amazing and overwhelming.
“This is the year that the Lord has made for me and I feel so honoured to be the Queen of Sekhukhune schools. I thank the almighty God for everything.”
The girl from Ga-Mashamothane Zone 7, thanked her family and friends for their support.
She also vowed to represent the district where she was needed. “I will cherish the crown and represent the Sekhukhune region well. This is one of the best things to have happened in my life,” said the grade 10 pupil of Batau High.
