Mayor donates to local school

Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality’s mayor Eddie Maila continues to do good for his communities.

 

 

Maila handed school uniforms to more than 10 needy pupils at Lekubushai Primary School in Taung village on Monday of 25 July 2022.

 

In handing the donations, Maila was accompanied by Exco members, Ward 22 Cllr Lentle Rachoshi, the Chief Whip Cllr Vincent Shoba and the Speaker Cllr Pheladi Pholwane.

 

 

 

Maila emphasised his call to members of the community, who afford, to voluntarily donate to the needy as education remain the societal matter.

 

” We call upon councillors, businessmen and women and everyone to join in assisting the needy pupils . No child in this municipality should bear the harsh weather conditions by going to school without shoes or a jersey.”

 

The School Management Team (SMT) at Lekubushai Primary School thanked Maila for his good heart .

 

They urged community members to also continue assist at neighbouring schools.
