MOGAUNG – Over 80 underprivileged families in Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality’s ward 22, Mogaung Village were provided essential support through a food program of Sekhukhune District Municipality (SDM) led by Executive Mayor Minah Bahula on April 1.
According to the district municipality, the programme remains Executive Mayor Bahula’s primary focus and ensures commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those facing economic hardships, particularly during the challenging times.
Bahula said, “However, our mission doesn’t end here. Our office is determined and aims to expand the program further, helping the needy, reaching even more families in similar circumstances. In light of this, we appeal to individuals and organizations with the means to join us in this noble cause by helping those in dire situations. Your support can make a world of difference to those struggling to make ends meet. Together, let’s ensure that no one in our community goes hungry or feels forgotten.”
The executive mayor was joined by Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality Mayor, David Tladi and his Executive committee, the Chief Whip and Members of the Mayoral Committee.
Lemson Moropjane, SDM spokesperson, said the program has made significant impact, with the families receiving vital assistance.
