Alleged murderer and rapist’s case postponed

The Nebo Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case against an alleged rapist to December 2. Alfred Nkadimeng (35) appeared before the court on October 24 , in connection with the rape and murder of a 63-year-old woman from Ga-Marishane village.
“ It is alleged that the accused broke into the victim’s home during the night of 18 October, he then raped and killed the elderly woman.The deceased was later found murdered at her homestead”, said Limpopo NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi
Malabi-Dzhangi revealed, “It is alleged that the suspect was seen leaving the residence of the deceased earlier that morning, way before the community discovered her lifeless body.”
She said police were immediately informed and attended the scene.
“In the early hours of Thursday, October 23, some community members noticed the suspect entering his homestead and immediately alerted the police, who then effected the arrest.”
Nkadimeng abandoned bail, and the matter is expected to continue on 02 December. Police investigations investigations continue.
