“Community projects are vehicles for job creation and development. We are always encouraging our residents to come forward with ideas or programmes that are aligned to uplifment of lives. We would also like to see the communities working together with the traditional council to resolve any matter that may arise. They must approach the traditional council for assistance. We would also like to see businesses coming forward to provide help for the group to get a mobile office from which they can properly operate,” stated Rammupudu.
Nthwaleng Tlaka, Ipopeng Cultural Group founder, appreciated Rammupudu’s visit, saying it provides them courage and hope to prosper.
Tlaka indicated, “We need assistance with mobile offices or any form of shelter. We are struggling to accommodate all the participants and that delays progress of our programmes. Our aim is to ensure that all our youth and women are directly involved in the project. We are truly honoured for the support of Kgoshi Rammupudu since 2017 and we will continue developing and creating sustainable programmes for our respective communities.”
