Ratlou sworn in as Elias Motsoaledi council member

GROBLERSDAL – The African National Congress councillor in Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality, Winter Sefoko Ratlou was on March 15 officially sworn in as a member of council.

Councillor Ratlou, as required in the process, pledged through affirming that he would be faithful to the Republic of South Africa and obey, respect and uphold the constitution and all other laws of the country.

He was sworn in by Groblersdal Magistrate Mashele Bogi Hoxani Mihloti. “We wish him well in his journey, with much-needed service delivery strides that will improve the lives of the people,” said Council Speaker, Dieketseng Mashego.

Mashego indicated that Ratlou served as a ward councillor in the municipality, which puts him in a better position to understand the core function of the municipality to improve service delivery to the masses under its jurisdiction.
