Valuable grocery donation at disability received with both hands
TAFELKOP – The Innovation Lifexycle Systems, owned by Lekentle Mohlala from Tafelkop, recently donated food parcels to the Boikano Disability Care Centre in the area.
The organizer of the donations, Mahlodi Matsepe, said the donations are part of their drive to provide help to the needy in communities.
Matsepe indicated that they have seen that a lot of people need help in the community riddled by poverty and unemployment.
She highlights that they are planning to reach out to more communities and provide help where needed through their programme.
“We have started here in Tafelkop because we believe that charity begins at hope. We will be expending to other communities in future. Our people need help and this is the little we can do for them to change their lives,” smiled Mahlodi.
The centre appreciated the efforts of the donors and urged them to grow the programme as more people remain vulnerable in the community.
They donated 24 grocery hampers and bath solutions to the disabled people at the centre which runs without proper funding.
The centre mentioned lack of enough space and fencing around the facility as a major concern, considering the high levels of crimes in communities.
They appeal to anyone who can help to come forward and ensure the safety of their property and beneficiaries.
