Fetakgomo Tubatse assists communities on Mandela Day

As part of the Mandela Day celebrations the delegation from Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality (FTLM) painted the buildings at Lethlabile creche at Mashilabele in Ward 38.

The officials were led by the acting mayor Cllr Release Marwale Radingwana , the Speaker Cllr Reneilwe Pholoane , the chief whip Cllr Vincent Shoba and Executive committee (Exco) members). Skeem Saam actor Clement “Kwaito” Maosa also spent his 67minutes at the crèche.

After the 67 minutes of doing good, the team donated 10 sponge mattress and 20 chairs to the crèche.

Radingwana said locals need to celebrate Mandela Day on daily basis. “Make a difference to someone’s life on daily basis. Today, we brought smiles to the kids and the management of the crèche.”

On Tuesday, the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality continued with Mandela day activities by painting Rehlahleng creche at Paeng section, Kgautswane ward 24 under Cllr Peter Kgwete.

The activities were led by acting mayor Cllr Mabelane, Speaker Cllr Pholoane and MMCs Cllr Dorah Mphethi and Cllr Owen Mashego.
