School uniform donated to needy learners

Zibu Distribution and Transport recently donated school uniforms to nine schools in Tafelkop at Bakgaga Royal Office.
Five identified as needy learners received school uniform including shoes, jerseys, pull-overs, socks, shirts and trousers with skirts for girls.
Stating reasons behind the donation and its significance, William Mazibuko, Zibu Trading Retail and Transport Managing Director, said that he was born in Kwa-Zwalu Natal (KZN) where lack of resources and poverty became an obstacle in the learning process of a children.
Mazibuko said he believed as a businessman and a member of the society, that gave him an opportunity to thank the people who supported him and that he felt donating school uniform was a start in the right direction.
“I would like to thank Bakgaga Traditional Council for giving us the platform and opportunity to plough back in my community,” said Mazibuko.
Kgoshi Rammupudu Boleu II said that the donation came at the right time ahead of the winter season as some pupils went to school without shoes and other amenities.
Kgoshi Rammuoudu added that he believed the action brought hope to many needy learners in the communities.
“We are truly grateful to the Good Samaritan and I believe his action will inspire other local businessmen and women to take part in programs and projects that develops our community especially our youth, said Rammupudu.
Cathrine Mathunyane , Ipelegeng School for the Disabled Educator, indicated that they were facing challenges at their respective schools and that the donation gave them the guarantee that they were not alone.
