Family loses everything when house burnt down

GA MOTODI

Seven members of  the Moraba family at Ga Motodi Stasie section are homeless.

The family’s RDP house burnt down on 7 February at about 15:30. The family lost all their belongings during the blaze.

This includes furniture, school uniform, foods and many more accessories. They pleaded for assistance in bringing some balance into their lives.

“We are unsure of the cause of the fire, but we suspect electric faults. We are grateful that no one got injured during the fire. It was a blazing inferno and if someone had been inside, it could have been worse,” said Dianego Moraba.

She indicated that they are now forced to ask from neighbours and also search for a place to sleep.

“We are left with only the clothes we wore that day. We don’t even have a place to sleep. The kids cannot even go to school. We are pleading with the Good Samaritans, to spare a thought for us and donate something to us.”

Those wishing to assist the family with food, clothing or anything else can contact Dianego on 071 404 2637.
