Lesedi –Sedi hosts graduations and prize giving

MOROKE

Proud parents and well-wishers descended Moroke village to witness the graduation of their little ones at Lesedi -sedi Primary-School last Saturday. The event also included the prize giving for hardworking pupils and teachers.

The graduating learners entertained the audience with dances, poems, plays and lots more. The kids were also dressed like professionals, most indicated that they wish to pursue careers in medicine, teaching, nursing, engineering while some want to work in the military and the SAPS.

Lesedi sedi founder and CEO Mr Lesedi Moloto highlighted important tips of growing up and being a learner. He also advised that parents not only pay attention to children in pre-school but throughout their learning career. He said it is pleasing to see the children gain their confidence as they grow.
“This is our way of honouring the children and we wanted to do something different than sticking with the usual crèche graduation theme. It is also a way to say thank you to the parents for entrusting us to care for their children,” he said.
He added, “The school has been running for the past 24 years. We are offering the best education for our kids. We are also planning on opening another branch closer to Burgersfort.”
