Kgoshi Phaahla re-elected as provincial chairperson of the Contralesa

Jack Botes hall was fully packed when Kgoshi Letsiri Phaahla was re-elected unopposed as provincial chairperson of the Congress of Traditional Leaders (Contralesa).

 

Kgoshi Phaahla said he was overjoyed to be re-elected unopposed.

 

The provincial Contralesa chairperson said he contested for the 2nd term as majority of Magoshi demanded him to lead them and guide them through his leadership.

 

“I respected their calls and accepted to be re-elected. They want me to finish what I started in 2016,”Phaahla explained.

 

Phaahla said he would remain humble while restoring the dignity of Magoshi in the province.

 

“I will still remain humble but tough in my approach, understanding but intolerant to irrationality and respect everyone without compromising my status,” he said.

 

Phaahla’s people took to social media to congratulate him.

 

Kgwane Dolamo said: “I am out of words because what I know is that you are even bigger than those shoes. The delegations whom elected you won’t regret. Contralesa in this province is swimming in richness of leadership.

 

Mokgele Tjatjie said: “I’m proud to be under your leadership,”
