“Your mindset determines how far you can stretch, and it rings to me every day that I can never expand my abilities by doing what I am used to doing every day, some changes are required.” These are the words of a young author whose wish is to inspire and motivate everyone in any kind of situation.
Patrick Magabane has published his first book at the beginning of the Covid19 lockdown. He said amid the pandemic, his book has been selling well and reaching a satisfying audience.
This young man from Ga-Matokomane outside Burgersfort described his book as an opportunity to learn and failure is only a wake-up call that grants you another chance to make it right.
“Failure is a normal part of living, it happens every day and everywhere. It is unavoidable, so instead of taking failure as an enemy or destination, take it as a lesson and an opportunity to betterment,” he said.
The 22-year-old was inspired by life itself to write the book. He said his book motivates him every day when he reads it.
He said he also learns from his book every single day and his biggest wish is for the book to reach far so that it can help others.
Although Patrick encountered financial issues when he was seeking assistance in publishing the book, he is proud of himself for not giving up.
“I sell almost 30 copies of the book monthly and that to me is a huge success. It is affordable, only R150. People can contact me on 076 3802 724 to get a copy”
