More than 15 queens and kings were crowned during various modelling competitions. The pageants were organised at Ga Kgwete community hall on Saturday
Those who were crowned on the day included Miss Confidence, Miss Best Introduction, Miss Greetha Junior and Miss Preteen and many more.
Those who competed but did not win any of the crowns were handed certificates of participation.
The big winner was 16-year-old Lehlogonolo Chilwane who was crowned the overall Miss Greetha for 2021.
Katlego Mafologela was the winner in the male category.
“It feels good to win this prize; I wish to thank my family and the organisers of this competition for giving us young kids a platform to shine. This is the first of other prizes to come my way, in future I want to compete in the Miss Limpopo and Miss South Africa pageants,” said Lehlogonolo.
“We thank the support from the magoshi and sponsors that volunteered to assist us. They are indeed investing in our kids as these events take away kids from the streets,” revealed event organiser Lethabo Moropa
