My long journey to success

I am Lebogang Thobejane, first born to a family of three all the way from Ga-Sekhukhune Ga-Nkwana. I attended my primary school at Nkwana Primary School and secondary at Naka Mmakgomo Secondary School.

When I was young my dream was to become an author and radio presenter. I was inspired by OK Motsepe who is an incredible writer. I grew up reading my mother’s collection of books. I started writing articles that got published at Fetakgomo news, I then later joined Sekhukhune Times were I was a journalist for the weekly paper.

I was so proud of seeing my work published in newspapers. I am the author of the book called “Phafogang MaAfrika” which is a Sepedi poetry collection, published by Leshabane Publishers, CJ Makofane Leshabane

For my radio presentation journey, I worked at Letlhabile FM and Madibeng FM which are both based in Brits North West, I then joined Mascom FM in Ga-Masemola, Maruleng FM in Ga-Sekororo and Vission FM in N’wamitwa.

Lastly I would like to pass some words of encouragement to anyone pursuing their dreams, no matter how unrealistic they may seem keep pushing, challenges are going to come but is up to you to overcome them and concur.
