Mokhakara GT continues making a difference to local communities

MAANDAGSHOEK

The Maandagshoek Community Health workers, previously known as Home Based Carers believe in the saying, “The hand that gives, gathers.”
The Home Based Carers applauded two local entrepreneurs for giving back to the needy and vulnerable.
The Good Samaritans, Tumie Maduana and Lilly Leshaba of Mokhakara GT showed the willingness and desire to assist the disadvantaged.
The duo handed 20 boxes of clothing to the Mandagshoek Home Based Care last week . The handover was organized at Dilokong Hospital.
The boxes were collected from Leshaba’s family by the management of the centre.
“In assisting the needy, we interacted with Sophy Kgoete, who is a manager of the Home Based Care; she helped in detailing their needs and challenges.
“This was helpful, because she knows all of their demands.
“We also arranged with Kgoete to drop all boxes for them as she has better background of the recipients, “said the two businesses partners.
The partners said their company has a ‘soft spot’ for the locals.
“We are from Maandagshoek, and its best to start at home, as they say, Charity begins at home.
“This is not the first time we assisted in the local community. In the past years we assisted in erecting a bridge along with Tiego Mpuru Logistics.”
They added, “We always want to help where we can. We aim to help the local government where it struggles to achieve its goals and aims.
“We are prepared to go all out during our formal handover, and all interested business people are invited to make a different to those who cannot afford.”
