EPMLM welcomes back international model

Sevenstaad Village – An international model, 27 year-old Lebo Malope from Sevenstaad Village outside Marble Hall, who participated in the Milan Fashion week, received a heroes’ welcome on Wednesday, 13 July 2022 at the Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality (EPMLM) offices.

The mini welcoming event attracted the attendance of his family, that of Miss EPMLM 2022, the municipality’s senior management team as well as officials.

Malope told the attendees that he started his modeling career late last year when he was recruited into the modeling fraternity by his brother, through invade Model Agency.

“I was scouted late last year by his mother’s Modeling Agency, Invade Models. I was then placed, within a month, with one of the leading agencies in Europe, The Claw Models – Milan and Paris. Immediately when I arrived in Europe, I was then introduced to well known casting directors in the industry. That is when I booked the first big job and debuted with ALXS Studio,” said Malope.

He further says that was when he started to be in demand and booked eight more shows like the Fendi, JW Anderson, Zenga Official, Louis Vuitton, Paul Smith, Craig Green, and Kenzo and closed it off with Valentino.

“I am very excited that as a young boy I have represented my home village and Limpopo at large. That is why we were dubbed hashtagLimpopobrothers,” added Malope.

Thabitha Matladi, EPMLM Municipal Manager, congratulated Malope and called on his parents to look after the international asset.

“We are happy as the municipality to have an international asset that showcased his talent that graced international catwalks,” concluded Matladi
