Clive ready to lead
Ga-Masemola
A community leader, an activist and the President of Faculty of Best Advisory, Clive Mosoane, has registered as an independent candidate for the upcoming Local Government Elections (LGE) scheduled to be held on November 1st.
Mosoane was lobbied and endorsed by the masses in ward 28 under Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality (MLM) and he will be contesting against the ruling party and the red beret.
He believes that many people have lost hope in political parties, preferring independent candidates with clear vision, commitment and dedication in serving the masses.
“The people have spoken and I have accepted the offer to serve them with dignity,” said Mosoane.
He said the community needs neutral leadership who will represent and heed to their call and demand of masses
“People need loyal representative irrespective of their political affiliation,” he said.
He said unity amongst the community is a key to solve problems.
Asked why people must vote for him the president of faculty of best advisory said he will ensure that the people have access to clean water.
He also said the people will have equal opportunities in communities’ projects.
Adding that active and radical ward committees will be deployed who will speak out against corruption, crimes in and around our areas.
“Ward committees that understand that they don’t belong to a political party rather elected to represent and urges the ideas of the communities.
“We also intend to consult community in moving from rural to township like through street naming, from sections to zones,” said Mosoane.
He said he gained valuable experience while serving under several institutions and in community projects.
“I led and fought many corruption activities within public sector involving schools and state departments,” said Mosoane.
Speaking of his achievements he said his presidency helped over 100 000 learners throughout the country.
“We helped learners to enroll at various institutions of higher learning, and also helping the learners with tutoring during school holidays, not forgetting career counseling,” said Mosoane.
He described himself as voice of the voiceless people who fought many corruption activities in and around his area.
“My work speaks enough volume as evidence that I am capable as I have been working for them when I was just no one in governance,” he said.
Mosoane argued that leaders must be elected on basis of work done not on promises.
As things stands, he enjoys massive support from his respective ward.
Articulating challenges he said young people don’t register to vote so it remains a huge problem because old people are loyal to the ANC.
He however, said they remain hopeful that their truthful campaign will influence the old to vote for alternatives.
Mosoane interacted and served in various community projects and many would remember him through his work.
