Sekhukhune SAPS revamped
SCHONOORD
Sekhukhune SAPS officials believe in the saying, ‘cleanliness is next to godliness’. After realizing the damages at the station’s Client Service Centre (CSC) the men and women in blue went beyond the call of duty.
The SAPS members led by station commander Colonel Leshilo tiled the walls at the CSC. The office looks brand new and is now conducive to proper service delivery.
“We initiated a project to change the face of the station. The station CSC office had many black spots on the yellow painted walls and the new station commander was never comfortable with it.
“The station commander then came up with the project to tile the CSC walls for easy cleaning but there were no funds.
“The management of the station and other SAPS members worked beyond their ranks to make sure the station looks better. They tiled CSC walls without remuneration,” revealed Sgt Lesetja Kevin Mphahlele Social Crime Prevention coordinator at the station.
The station commander applauded W/o Maphanga for his multi skilled service and all other members for their support.
Leshilo encouraged the members to always work together as a team in order to achieve better goals.
