Lesedi-sedi Primary School is the latest school to celebrate its Pyjama day.  The pupils at the school attended classes in their pyjamas on Friday June 11.

The children rendered extra mural activities to entertain one another, they also brought their teddy bears to school .The grade R children played various games that included tug-of-war, colour picking games, shapes and many more educational activities.
According to CEO of the school, Lesedi Moloto, they have been hosting this type of event on annual basis.
“We introduce our learners to various educational topics. This year we wanted to teach our children about the purpose and importance of clothing,” said Moloto
He said the event also intended to bring together the children for an informal opportunity to connect, learn and inspire each other.
“It was a unique opportunity to experience a new way of networking. We had a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We are blessed to live in a wonderful supportive area,” added educator for the foundation phase, Aneurin Pienaar .
The pyjama day celebrations at the school were concluded with a generous donation from Absa Bank Tubatse Crossing.
The financial institution handed stationery and water bottles to children and educators at the school.
“Our bank values education that is the reason we invest in our kids. We chose this school because they have dedicated staff who work hard to improve the standard of education in our area. The stationery we handed today will assist the neediest pupils. We hope to see some of them working for Absa in future,” said branch manager, Ishmael Malele.
