Self-taught cook needs sponsorship

A passionate baker is looking for a sponsor to help with baking equipment and capital for ingredients. Alucia Malapane (33) from Phokoane is a self-taught cook and baker, she explained that her love for food began at a very young age.
This amazing cook counts herself unemployed due to lack of equipment. She said she started a business called Cia’s creations which unfortunately is running unsuccessfully.
“Last year during Covid-19 lockdown, I was doing a house call business and it was ok until I ran out of capital. I had to come back home and try to look for opportunities around but things are getting worse,” she said.
Alucia added that she tried selling on the streets but things were going to be easier if she had a comfortable place to work.
She said the other reason she is looking for a sponsor is that she has a daughter to support.
“A sponsor is just what I need right now, I have all the time and talent to do the work. I love cooking and I believe I was meant to cook for a living,” said Alucia.
