At the time many young people are looking for ready-made jobs opportunities in the fastest developing town of Burgersfort, Limpopo as a result of the mining development in the area.
The 22 year old, Jerry Mokgokgothi Mosima from Praktiseer decided to be a job creator than to be a job hunter.
Mosima was inspired by the owner of walk fresh business on social media and he decided his own washing shoes business last year.
Mosima said “I wash all different types of shoes including the safety boots and sleepers”.
Mosoma used liquid soap from the kitchen to start his flourishing shoe washing business and he saved money generated to buy brush, toilet paper, chalk, salt, soap and build a shelter and erected a bill board to market and promote his business.
Mosoma told the Sekhukhune times that the community appreciate what he is doing and they also give him courage when they bring their shoes to him.
Mosoma said “my business is booming and i make more than R5000 in a good month. I would like to grow my business and have as many branches in other part of the country”.
He intend to open other branches in Burgersfort, Jane-furse, Steelpoort town to grow his business and create jobs for the jobless young people.
