Broadway Legacy Foundation empower learners in Sekhukhune

TAFELKOP – The Broadway Legacy Foundation recently visited Rammupudu Primary School, Motjedi Secondary School and Refilwe Secondary School in Tafelkop and surrounding villages as part of its 2025 activities to support learners in Sekhukhune and beyond.

The foundation presented learners with awards and gifts, aiming to inspire them to work harder and provide hope to educators.

According to Kholo Makena, Chairperson of the Broadway Legacy Foundation, the organization was established to address the challenges faced by rural communities, particularly in schools.

“We decided to act because we believe that our educators need our support as parents, academics, and the community in general. Working together as stakeholders will give hope to educators and inspire learners to work harder,” she said.

Makena’s passion for empowering women and bringing change to her community has not gone unnoticed.
