She vowed that the 7th administration will work hard to ensure, Limpopo will surpass the national tourism statistics.

“We are truly delighted to host this significant event which will be held on Limpopo soil for the next three years,” she said.

Ramathuba added that hosting the NTCE for the next three years is a testament to the province’s ability to lead and innovate in the tourism space.

“It is a strategic opportunity to boost our economy, create jobs and promote entrepreneurship. As Limpopo Provincial Government, we are committed to creating a conducive environment for the growth of the sector. Through initiatives like ‘Tourism Thursdays’, we are working to ensure that tourism remains at the forefront of our economic agenda,” she said.

In her address, Deputy Minister of National Department of Tourism, Maggie Sotyu, indicated that the department is celebrating 30 years of rebuilding, especially in the tourism sector, because tourism was not considered in the past.
