Bahula visits water borehole infrastructure in Tubatse

BURGERSFORT

The Executive Mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality, Cllr Minah Bahula, led a delegation of councillors and senior officials to revisit three water borehole sites in Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality (FTLM).

This visit follows her commitment made during a similar engagement last week, aimed at ensuring that ongoing efforts to provide water to local communities are effectively realized.
The visit focused on boreholes located in Mareseleng Village, Ward 25, and Ga-Manoke Ward 18 as well as Ga – Selala where the team assessed their functionality and progress.

Bahula also emphasized the importance of ensuring that these critical water infrastructure projects are fully operational to meet the needs of the communities. “ We will also assess where we can augment the existing infrastructure such as installing tankers for water storage to ensure constant and consistent supply”.

She urged councillors and officials across the district to actively monitor water infrastructure and provide regular reports, ensuring swift interventions where necessary.
