Factory Shop partners with local organizations to donate to Mafemane

GA MANOKE

About 800 pupils from Mafemane Primary School at Ga Manoke received free breakfast meals sponsored by Factory Shop on May 16. The supermarket partnered with Tubatse Youth Unemployment Forum (TYUF) and Shaya Maize Meal to prepare the breakfast and also donate snacks and sanitary towels to the pupils. Burgersfort SAPS and Fetakgomo Tubatse traffic department also taught the pupils about the dangers of crime and shared roads safety tips.
“As Factory Shop, we care about local communities and education in our neighbouring villages. We want to see these pupils succeed in life and become better people, ”said Lipson Mabelane from Factory Shop.
Tshepo Mashegoane from Tubatse Youth Unemployment Forum applauded Factory Shop for giving back to the local communities.
“As a youth NPO passionate about Education and development we call for more private businesses to join hands with public institutions, departments and communities at large to bring initiatives that will restore hope and light to disadvantaged communities. We thank all the participants of this program and the school for allowing us this platform to engage the pupils.”
Mafemane Primary School’s management team thanked all stakeholders for the visit and donations.
