Mayor Cllr Eddie Maila, and his Executive Committees (EXCO) paid a courtesy visit to Queen Mother Manyaku Thulare at Mošate Mogolo wa Bapedi on August 11 to convey his gratitude on behalf of the municipality.

Maila expressed his appreciation for the attendance of Mošate Mogolo wa Bapedi at the State of the Local Municipality Address (SOLMA) held on the 7th August 2025 at Motodi Sports Complex.
The mayor highlighted that the event was a great success and the presence of the Queen Mother was of immense significance.
“The attendance of Mošate Mogolo and other mešate around Fetakgomo-Tubatse symbolised the strong partnership and mutual respect that exists between the municipality and traditional leadership,” said Maila.

She also commended  Maila for organising a successful event and acknowledged the overwhelming support from communities who attended in large numbers.

Queen Mother encouraged the mayor and his Executive Committee to remain humble and lead the community with respect. She bestowed her blessings upon the leadership of the municipality and urged them to continue protecting Magoši and mešate.
