Member of the Limpopo Legislature join hands with SDM and MLM to give back to the community

Sekhukhune District Executive Mayor Cllr Minah Bahula alongside the Local Mayor of Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality Cllr Merah Mahlase collaborated with Faith Sebopela (MPL) Foundation to commemorate Mandela Day on July 17, and gave back to the community of Leeukraal Village in Ward 5.

With the aim of giving back to her home ground, Faith Sebopela who is also a whip on programming and parliamentary affairs identified Mighty Crèche as a beneficiary of the foundation to solve one of their many challenges, it being water.
Under the 2025 Nelson Mandela Day theme “it is still in our hands to combat poverty” Faith Sebopela Foundation also took part in handing over Food parcels and a Water borehole, which will provide water not only to the crèche facility but to the neighbouring households as well.

Minah Bahula who was also joined by MMC Alfred Matlala,acknowledged the project done by the Foundation “Faith has shown great leadership for the Youth of Limpopo, and as the district municipality we continue to extend our support where necessary to the Mighty crèche with their pending needs” reiterates the SDM mayor.

The water borehole project installation is part of the temporary measures by the SDM whilst seeking sustainable water solution.
