Miss Curvy finalist champions for body positivity
BURGERSFORT
A finalist for the Miss Curvylicious SA 2025 competition is determined to make a difference in Tubatse . Edith Molapo (35), is a proud mother of five, a role model, and a sports mentor. All she wants is to see locals living in peace, and South Africa being a crime free country. One of her goals is to encourage men to live better and behave more responsibly in society.
With this idea in mind, she is hosting a mental health awareness event for boys and men at Thaba Moshate Casino on June 28 in Burgersfort. Molapo is radio presenter and is passionate about mental health, particularly for boys and men
“Being a radio presenter gives me a platform to listen to what people go through on a daily basis,” she said. ” I am encouraging parents to bring their boys to the event, as well as the fathers, they will learn a lot, ” she said as she applauded single fathers.
Molapo described herself as a proud plus-size queen.
“I believe plus-size women need to step out of their comfort zones and stop listening to body-shaming comments. They need to be positive,” she said.
