Mokoena volunteers to patch problematic potholes
PRAKTISEER
The road linking Praktiseer and Bothashoek to the R37 is now in a better shape. This is all thanks to Praktiseer resident, Sanco member and community leader David Mokoena.
He and a group of volunteers patched the potholes on the busy road between May 5-7.
Mokoena and his group worked tirelessly to improve the road conditions by filling the potholes that have plagued motorists for a long time.
“Our focus is not only the Praktiseer road, we will also patch other roads in Tubatse. I am thankful to the volunteers helping in this project and also our sponsors. We urge locals to assist with materials for fixing these roads.”
The group also installed road signs warning motorists about humps on the busy road. He is proud of the change he has made in his community.
“It still feels good at the end of the day when you use the road yourself and the potholes are fixed.”
