Tubatse’s Royal Pirates to play in the ABC Motsepe League

Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup FC (Mopani District), Royal Pirates (Sekhukhune District) and P&S Academy (Waterberg District) have been promoted to Limpopo ABC Motsepe League for the season 2024/2025. 

The three teams were promoted during the SAFA Limpopo Inter-Regional Provincial Promotional Playoffs played at Mapodile Stadium in Longtill, Steelpoort, from July 27-28. The Pirates, champions of Sekhukhune, enjoyed much support as the games were played in their  backyard. 

This team from Maandagshoek gained promotion after accumulating 7 points in the four games they played. Two victories against FC Inter, P &S Academy and a draw against Golden Syrup was enough to guarantee the Tubatse side promotion. They got promoted as the runners-up. 

Golden Syrup FC topped the standings with 8 points while P&S Academy achieved six points, to clinch the last berth of promotion. Basel and Inter from Vhembe and Capricorn districts, failed in their quest for promotion.
Pirates will join Tubatse United and Ngwaabe City Motors, they are the other two local teams from Fetakgomo Tubatse in the ABC Motsepe League.
