Burgersfort SAPS donates to Pheladi Angels

In celebrating Mandela Day, the Burgersfort SAPS led by Station Commander Brigadier Augustine Mmboyi visited the Pheladi Angels’ for disable to spend their 67 minutes for Madiba.
Stakeholders such as the Pastors Against Crime , Business Forums, Rural Safety, tribal authorities , CPF.,Y-Cop, Women Network/Man for Change and Driekop FM also joined in the visit .
“The purpose was to show the Pheladi Angels that as SAPS, we love and recognize them as our brethren,” said Mmboyi.
She said the local business and farmers assist in donating, two wheelchairs, blankets, sanitary towels, groceries, paints and brooms as a token of love and recognition . The premises were cleaned and painted and groceries handed to them. Two wheelchair were also handed to the disabled.
The management of Pheladi Angels were excited and thanked the SAPS for the gifts. ” We appreciate all the gifts handed to us, and we thank the SAPS for organising these donations. We plead with other stakeholders to also lend a helping hand to our centre.”
