Kgautšwane man arrested for murder

A 47-year-old man appeared in the Leboeng Periodical Court on July 2 on a charge of murder.
He was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing incident that occurred in Kgautšwane on Friday night, June 28.
“The police and emergency medical services responded to a report of a stabbing in Kgautšwane Village on Saturday morning. Upon arrival, they found a 37-year-old man in his backyard, with multiple stab wounds. The victim was certified dead on the scene,” said the Limpopo police’s spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba.
He said the detectives identified and apprehended the suspect, who resides in the same village, through diligent investigation and co-operation from the community.
Ledwaba said preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had been stabbed after he reportedly had had a physical altercation with the suspect.
He said the motive behind the incident will be determined through ongoing police inquiry. This publication did not have the court outcomes at the time of going to press.
