Lifeless body of a man found dumped in Dennilton

The Dennilton Police have launched a massive manhunt for unknown suspect(s) involved in the murder of an unknown man whose body was found at Magakadimeng Village along the Bloempoort gravel roads and Mohlabetse River.

According to the police, the victim’s body was discovered on Wednesday 13 March 2024 at about 11:20.

Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said the gruesome discovery follows after the police were summoned to a scene of murder where on arrival, they discovered an African man’s body on the gravel road looking upward at the side of the road with gunshot wounds.

“The deceased was wearing blue jeans, a yellow T-shirt, a blue jacket and brown tekkies. His face was half covered with a blue jacket,” explained Ledwaba.

 He added that following the discovery, medical emergency personnel were promptly contacted to provide assistance and the victim was certified dead.

“The motive behind this horrific incident is unknown. Anyone who might have information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects is requested to contact Detective Constable Andrew Nkgudi on 076 628 6701, Crime Stop Number on 08600 10111, the nearest police station, or share information on MysapsApp,” said Ledwaba.

Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Limpopo, urges anyone with information pertaining to the crime to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
