EPMLM appoints Director of Infrastructure Services

The Council of Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality (EPMLM) had in its special council sitting held recently, resolved to appoint Tshepiso Promise Maphutha as the Director of Infrastructure Services effective from 1 September 2023.

Armed with B. Tech in Civil Engineering, Maphutha commenced his duties on Monday 2 October 2023. At the time of his appointment, Maphutha was the PMU Manager at Thembisile Hani Local Municipality (THLM) at Kwaggafontein in Mpumalanga.

Maphutha is bringing along a wealth of over 10 year experience with local government and expertise to EPMLM.

EPMLM Mayor, Given Moimana, welcomed the appointment of Maphutha, saying it will help in closing the vacancy of senior positions in the local municipality.

“On behalf of the municipality, we are happy that all the vacant senior manager positions are filled and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome him and wish him well on his new assignment,” said Moimana.
