Help the police to locate these missing persons

The Police in Lebowakgomo have launched a search operation, following the disappearance of a 27-years-old man, Pontsho Kenneth Mazwi from Seleteng Ga-Mphahlele in the Lebowakgomo police area.

According to police, the victim was last seen on Wednesday 7 September 2022, at about 04:00 am leaving his residence without informing anyone about his destination.

“At the time of his disappearance, the victim was wearing a blue work suit. The search operations was conducted without success,” Sergeant Monatse Mamabolo, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson.

Mamabolo said the police appeals to anyone with information that can help to locate the missing man to contact investigating Officer Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Nyamanyawo Baloyi on 082 565 8234 or their nearest police station on 0860010111 or make use of the MySAPSApp.

Meanwhile Mamabolo said the police in Sekhukhune are requesting the public to assist in locating the whereabouts of a missing, 21-year-old woman, named Mahlatse Thuli Phetla, from Ga-Malekana Village outside Jane Furse.

According to Mamabolo, it is alleged that the victim was last seen on Friday 2 September 2022 around 17:00, by her younger brother going to a local spaza shop and she has since disappeared.

“The police, community members and K9 unit members conducted a search at the village without success. The type of clothes she was wearing are currently unknown,” said Sergeant Monatse Mamabolo, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson.

Mamabolo said attempts to locate the missing woman from friends and families bore no fruits and added that the police is appealing to anyone with information to locate her whereabouts to contact the investigating officer Sergeant Leshata Lekoloane on 064 851 2151, Crime Stop Number on 08600 10111, the nearest police station or make use of MySAPSApp.

“The police investigation to locate her is still on-going,” Mamabolo said.
