All system go for LIMSOTA awards

Leshole Media Artists (LMA) is set to host its first massive ceremony award titled LIMPOPO Soldiers of Talent Award (LIMSOTA) to acknowledge and recognise artists throughout the province.
The ceremony will be held in the Sekhukhune region, Moses Mabotha Civic hall, under Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality (FTLM) on May 28th.
Ashley Masweneng, the founder of LMA, who’s also the organiser, said they are planning to make a historical mark as they expect artists from all corners of the province.
“We divided our awards into six categories. We have prominent comedian, prominent musician, prominent newsletter, prominent online radio, prominent radio station and prominent radio presenter,” said Ashley.
The ceremony event will also serve and afford attended artists to network with each other.
Asked which criteria was used in selecting the participants, he said: “We used social media to identify the talented artists,”
“We appreciate the support from TTStudio, Nkateko Delightful Funerals, Wealthtree Administrators, Kgakgatha holding, The Big R, Loans and short term insurance and Monoka Funeral services,” said Ashley
He also thanked a traditional healer, Dr Malatji from Lerajane section in Mohlaletse for supporting the initiative with finance.
The organiser also advised people who wish to attend the ceremony awards to “dress to kill” as they would walk on the red carpet.
“We invite all people from Limpopo to come in their numbers to witness this historical mark event,” explained founder of LMA.
The event will officially commence midday and expected to end at six in the evening.
