Sekhukhune United offload players

DSTV premiership side Sekhukhune United has released eight players ahead of the season restart. The news was announced by the team in a media statement on Thursday.

Babina Noko has confirmed the departure of players that included former Orlando Pirates star Thabo Rakhale and veteran midfielder Jabulani Maluleke.

Other players released by the team are Zimbabwean midfielder Talent Chawapiwa, Nicholus Lukhubeni, Blessing Sarupinda, Ryan De Jongh, Thabang Sibanyoni and Sibusiso Hlubi.

Sekhukhune have also loaned out Tumelo Matona to GladAfrica Championship side, Jomo Cosmos.

In the January transfer window, the team signed the likes of Justin Shonga, Evans Rusike, Luckyboy Mokoena and Zambian midfielder Roderick Kabwe.
