ACDP IN EMLM launches its manifesto

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) under Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality (EMLM) has formally launched its manifesto for the upcoming Local Government Elections (LGE) on October 3rd.
The party’s manifesto was attended by its party supporters in Groblersdal.
During the successful manifesto launch, the party has made several promises to the people pleading them to put them in power through votes.
The party outlined what has been described as ‘factors which are of critical importance’ to rebuild the communities.
The ACDP said it will liberate and bring true freedom to the people if it is elected into power.
Speaking to the supporters, party chairperson, Jaco Odendaal, said for the past 27 years into democracy the dream of a better future for all did not happen under the ruling party.
Jaco claimed that the ACDP is the only political party to bring the true freedom and a better life for all.
“The main reason we say we are a better party is that we are Christian Political Party which will not only make promises to the people but to deliver in honoring our norms and beliefs,” Jaco explained.
He said they are well prepared to deliver better services to the people.
Jaco said they will support all small business doing business within the EMLM.
“We will support small businesses by negotiating with funders to fund needy small business.
He said the ACDP will work with several stakeholders including the mines, farms, factories and other commercial enterprises to assist in bettering the lives of people in the community.
Jaco also said only qualified families will be awarded with RDP houses with title deeds and state land gets allocated for residential and agricultural projects.
He further said they will improve infrastructures under ACDP led municipality.
“We will maintain and expand safe, efficient, affordable and reliable public transport,” said Jaco.
Not only that, the party states that it will hold companies accountable for pollution such as ACID drainage from mines and other water or air pollution activities.
“The ACDP will promote agricultural development by protecting and supporting farmers,”
Moreover the party is believed to promote rural development through incentive for industries to relocate to rural areas.
“Lastly we will strengthen law enforcement by ensuring ethical and effective policing by support police forums and neighborhood watches. We will introduce fines for suppliers of alcohol to illegal outlets,” he concluded.
