The talented gospel singer of a famous album called “Ke tlae bona kae tumelo” opens up about his journey in music.
Abel Brian Selahle from Burgersfort, Mandagashoek is a talented singer who released his first song in 2018. He explains the journey as a blessing from God.
He says he started singing from a young age when he was part of Sunday school.
“I knew that singing was my talent when I felt comfortable with singing in public. I am motivated by a man called Glen Mohlala who always compliment my songs,” He said.
The 26-years-old stated that the only challenge he faced while recording his songs was that he is a lead singer and also his own backup singer, which is now difficult as he cannot make his lead voice different to the backup vocals.
Abel said he is inspired by a gospel famous singer called Ndumiso who he wishes to be at his level one day.
“I want people to know my music more than me. The only thing I wish to spread is the word of God through music. We build and encourage people that they must be hopeful through music because God has given us different talents to praise him,” said Abel.
He said most people are afraid to go out there and show off their talents. He wishes that everyone could explore their talents and the world will be made out of people who are not happy with their choice of careers.
He wants to thank everyone who has supported his music and he wishes they never stop.
