“I have said before and I want to reiterate this message loud and clear, our current generation is concerned about the overall governance of the entire Provincial Administration. That is why today, I am pleased to officially welcome the announcement of these Audit Outcomes by the AG for Limpopo. As Provincial Government, we have indeed registered significant audit improvements for the financial year 2019/2021. These improvements are a product of the ongoing oversight work by Executive Council, the Legislature, hard work by Senior Management and all the officials of government. This is indeed a good story to tell. As the province, we don’t have any disclaimer audit opinion, nothing” said Limpopo Premier Stanley Mathabatha.
Mathabatha urged the provincial government administration never to relax and regress.
“Instead, administration is mandated to put more hard work, sustain the clean audit opinions, improve the unqualified opinions to clean audit opinions and move the few qualified departments and entities to clean audit opinions.”
