“I was pointed with a gun to give them everything I had, with fear I did. They took me to Mamone Mountains and tied me to the trees after beating me up. My ID and bank cards are all gone” Ben said.

A white Chevrolet utility bakkie that was bought in 2016, July by Joe Masha was stolen early this year. Joe says they opened a case at Jane Furse Police station then 1 of the detective from Polokwane who was handling the case said they will hand it to another detective in Groblersdal. He added by saying he never heard anything from the police ever since.

“I was planning to put a tracker in the car last year but it was hijacked before I could get a chance to do it. I am aware of some of the robbers; we have been to the place we were told they hide in but no success,” Joe said.
