Two missing in Mecklenburg

The Mecklenburg SAPS have launched search operations to find two missing persons who allegedly went missing around their policing area.

 

A matriculant, Helen Mahlakwane aged 18, was last seen by her mother between 23 February and  24 February  at Mphogo village going to Potoko high school for her matric results and since then, she never returned back home.

 

The family tried to contact her through cell phone but it was on voicemail.  She was wearing blue jean, yellow blouse, peach leather jacket with white and purple slippers.

at the time of her disappearance. She is dark in complexion.

 

Meanwhile, Kagiso Mashabela aged 35 was last seen by her mother on 20 February 2021 at about 20:00. He allegedly left home without informing anyone at his family about his destination.

He was wearing a black vest, blue jeans with black sandals at the time of his disappearance.

Currently the family does not have the picture of Kagiso Mashabela.  Police conducted search operations for both missing persons at relatives and surrounding areas without success.

 

Anyone with information that can assist the SAPS to find the missing persons should contact Sgt Kgaleke Mampuru on 082 833 2573 or crime stop number 0860010111 or the nearest Police Station.  The Police search operations and investigations are still continuing.
