Lovers shot dead at Bothashoek

The Tubatse SAPS have launched a massive manhunt for unknown armed suspects who allegedly shot and killed a couple in Bothashoek on Tuesday night.

 

The deceased are a 29 year old female petrol attendant, Julendah Nkomo and a 40 year old man, Rolly Magabe.

 

 

” It is alleged that the woman’s brother was woken up by gunshots and rushed to her room where he found the lifeless bodies of the deceased lying in a pool of blood. The assailants had already fled from the scene,” revealed Limpopo SAPS’s Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

 

He said SAPS and medical emergency personnel were summoned and upon arrival, the two victims were certified dead on the scene.

 

“Police investigations and manhunt for the suspects were then activated.”

 

There are no arrests yet and the motive for the incident is still unknown.

 

The Provincial Commissioner of  SAPS in Limpopo Lt Gen Nneke Ledwaba has ordered for the implementation of the 72 hour activation plan on the arrest of the suspects involved in this incident.
