In a heartwarming gesture of love and support, ANC Sekhukhune Regional Chairperson, Minah Bahula, donated a wheelchair to Kgothatso Mefolo from Caprive village outside Jane Furse.
The compassionate donation follows a report by ANC volunteers who discovered Kgothatso’s daily mobility challenges during the door-to-door programme in the area.
Addressing community members during the handover, the Regional Chairperson said the donation was not just about providing a wheelchair, but about showing love and responsiveness to the needs of our people.
“This is what a caring organization does. We listen, we respond, and we act,” she said.
Bahula commended the dedication of ANC volunteers whose work on the ground brought Kgothatso’s plight to the attention of the regional leadership. She was joined by the ANCYL Provincial Chairperson, Cde Faith Sebopela, whose presence was warmly appreciated.
The family of Kgothatso expressed deep gratitude for the timely intervention.
In a separate programme on the same day, Bahula, also joined by Sebopela, shared a special moment with Banna ba ka Mamone at Marotobale Primary School.
The meet-and-greet session brought together men from all sections of Mamone Village in a demonstration of unity and organizational renewal.
During the programme, Bahula expressed sincere appreciation and special gratitude to the men of Mamone for their continued and unwavering support for the ANC.
The gathering was also supported by REC Member Judy Mphelane and volunteers from neighbouring branches, who came out in numbers to reinforce the spirit of comradeship.
