According to the political party, the sporting event was organised by the ANC so that young boys and girls can showcase their talents, build bonds and also to improve mental health care.

During the tournament, Dennilton Callies FC from Ntwane Village in EMLM Ward 8, were crowned champions after defeating Tambo Home Boys FC from OR Tambo Village in EMLM Ward 9 in the final match.

On the netball finals, the host, Zebras NC from Mpheleng Village in EMLM Ward 5, defeated Dennilton Golden Girls NC from Ntwane in EMLM Ward 8 and walked away with the first prize in the sporting code.

The winners in both football and netball sporting codes were awarded trophies, gold medals, and soccer kit. The other teams that participated in the tournament didn’t go home empty handed and they received a ball each team.
